Absolutely not! Most “off-gassing” of new carpet is complete within the first 24 hours or so.
It is like that "new car smell" thing. Time will help. Have you tried airing out your home by opening windows and running fans? Properly ventilating with good air exchange for approximately 48 to 72 hours should make a big difference. Sometimes vacuuming several times can help.
