However, there are certain things that are out of our control. The biggest issue is that if you have existing flooring down, especially carpet, we cannot see the condition of your subfloor underneath it. Your hard surface installer may reveal a need for subfloor prep when they remove your existing carpet or other flooring. This could mean additional payment for unforeseen work. This sort of thing does occur on occasion. However, we do our best to eliminate all surprises.
