What do I need to do to prepare for my measurement?

To ensure the most accurate quote:

• Know what type of flooring you want 
  • The process will be smoother and quicker if you know what type of flooring you want and in each area, even if you change your mind later. Your Lowe’s flooring specialist can help you make these decisions before the appointment.
• Decide which areas of your home you want measured
  • We can measure as many rooms as you want, and your measurement is valid at Lowe's for 6 months after completion.
• An adult 18 years or older must be present during the measurement. If you won’t be available, please provide contact information for the person who will be there so we can coordinate with them directly.

If your home is under construction, or you are planning to remodel, please wait until all walls and stationary cabinetry are in place before scheduling your measurement.

If the work you plan to do in some areas will exceed 6 months after the measure was completed, we will need to re-measure those areas.
