Your installer will take every precaution to prevent scuffing your baseboards and walls. However, depending on the circumstances of your particular installation, you may need to do some paint touch ups after installation is complete.
Minor dust accumulation may occur. You may want to provide plastic sheeting and tape to block off other rooms from the dust and shut off all central heating/cooling.
Your new floor may be thicker than your existing floor. This could lead to issues with doors fitting back properly. Be prepared to have to trim doors down post installation.
There may be exposed ends of quarter round that need to be touched up after installation.
Immediately begin proper care and maintenance following your flooring installation as laid out by the manufacturer.
Read the product warranty provided by the manufacturer or Lowe’s.
