After the In-Home Measurement
Once the in-home measurement is complete, our team sends the details to the Lowe’s Central Selling Team to create the personalized quote or estimate.
If flooring options weren't selected during the measurement, a Lowe’s specialist will help choose the best flooring for the space. After the selections are finalized, Lowe’s will prepare a detailed quote and reach out by phone, email, or text to complete the purchase.
Need to Make Changes?
If you want to make changes to your quote, a refigure may be required. A refigure ensures your measurement matches your final contract. Common reasons for a refigure include:
- Adding or removing rooms or areas from the quote
- Changing the direction of the flooring
- Switching to a different flooring type
Why Refigures Matter
- Refigures can affect seam placement for rolled goods like carpet and sheet vinyl.
- They may change the amount of material needed for installation.
- Refigures should be requested and completed before purchasing your installation contract.
Important: Post-sale refigures can cause delays if additional materials are required.
