My carpet is buckling and wrinkling, what causes this to happen?

Buckling in carpet can occur for several reasons, with the most common being sliding heavy furniture across its surface. Other contributing factors include using the wrong type of cushion, or excessive humidity. If your carpet needs re-stretching, make sure all furniture is removed from the room and that the carpet is power-stretched tightly in all four directions.
