Sometimes—but it depends on the issue.
What We Can Do:
- Minor repairs, such as sanding down high spots on wood or concrete subfloors, may be performed by our installers if needed to meet flatness requirements.
What We Cannot Do: Lowe’s does not allow us to perform structural repairs. If your subfloor has major issues, you’ll need to hire a contractor who specializes in subfloor or foundation work.
Examples of Repairs We Do Not Perform:
- Removing and replacing dry-rotted subfloor.
- Removing subfloor to shave down high joists or build up low joists.
- Blocking joists to reduce flex or spring in the floor.
- Replacing ¾" particle board with ¾" OSB or plywood.
- Major grinding of concrete subfloors.
- Pouring concrete to fill channeled areas from plumbing or perimeter drain work.
