You may have questions about when you should sell in-stock carpet vs direct ship carpet. Most of the stores we service are part of the Lowe's Direct Ship program.
Most of the stock carpets you carry also have a coordinating Direct Ship SKU. The in-store stock carpets are to be sold only to those customers that need a Rapid Install and pay the Rapid Install fee.
All other stock carpets should be sold with the Direct Ship SKU. When sold as direct ship, the carpet is taken from an offsite Lowe's warehouse and sent directly to UHS. That means that you do not have to handle it, cut it or stage it there at the store! We do not have to come to you to pick it up which helps us avoid pick up issues and delays on the day of installation. What a wonderful thing!
