We strive to leave your home better than we found it! However, it is important to realize that removing and installing any type of flooring can disturb your home in a number of ways. After the install you may notice some minor scuffs on the baseboards and walls. This is fairly common in carpet installation because the backing of the carpet is rough like sandpaper. This backing sometimes rubs on the walls as the carpet is cut to fit the room. Removal of old flooring can also cause minor damage to your home as well as dust. We try to avoid even minor scuffing and damages. Our installers are very careful and will treat your home with the utmost respect. The installer will either vacuum or broom sweep after installation however, final dusting and deep cleaning are the responsibility of the customer.
Here are some things you can do to minimize the clean up:
*Shut doors to rooms we are not working in
*Close register vents
*Cover furniture in adjacent areas with drop cloths or sheets
*If we are working in the kitchen or bath, remove things from cabinets and counter-tops
